Ballantine's 12 Years Blended Scotch Whisky

Finest is a complex, refined and elegant blended scotch whisky. It is regarded as the taste to satisfy a modern style. The original flavor, complexity and refinement comes from more than 50 single malt flavors. The unmistakable Ballantine's flavor is dependent on these 50 single malts, 4 single grains and in particular the fingerprint malts from Miltonduff and Glenburgie. It is balanced because no one single component dominates.

History -In 1827, George Ballantine didn’t want to follow in his farming father’s footsteps so instead he opened a small grocery store in Edinburgh. It proved relatively successfully, and he gave control of the original store to his son in 1865 when he went to open a larger version in Glasgow. In was in this new store where he started focusing more heavily on the wine and spirits trade.
